Hmm… interestingly, I’ve just started learning the longsword with PHEMAS, the Pan Historical European Martial Arts Society (Singapore)…. Hi Greg!

Swinging a longsword is just not as easy as one might think, movies and TV to the contary. It uses muscles you never thought you had…. my shoulders have been in pain for the past 2 days. But I think I’m a sucker for punishment ~ will be back again this weekend for more!

This being a holiday, we took our time and relaxed (or rather I did; wifey has to study for her exam next week) with some tea and pastries.

Got some Long Jin tea leaves from mom when we visited her last night, as dad was home from work in Cambodia. Very refreshing, especially on this hot sunny afternoon.

On the bright side, however, the jokes are still flying fast and furious ~ and as expected, funnyman director Nabeshin makes an onscreen cameo, towards the end of the episode in his trademark ‘fro and red suit.
