It’s the sequel to Ghost, which I enjoyed immensely:
Ex-Seal Mike Harmon has bought the farm-literally, in Eastern Europe. But trouble follows him even there, and the man who has made himself anathema to terrorists from Syria to Paris suddenly has Chechen terrorists banging on his own door..
Random Rumblings
I’m pissed.
I’m pissed because I’m so busy at work that I have to miss Open Session Training. *Again*.
And that fustration is compounded by the fact that I can’t even blow off steam by swinging the sword at open sessions.
On the upside, our leathersmith has come through beautifully on the Rapier Frog (the leather thingy that holds the sword to the belt) and pouch. I’ve commissioned him for another frog, this time to hold the Main Gauche, as well as a scabbard for the Liechtenauer. With the amount of work the Society is giving him, we might as well put him on retainer and use him as our armourer!
