We had gradings the week before. So now I’m an Intermediate Apprentice, with two pips on my ranking garter:
So… does that mean that I’m now a Level-2 Fighter? 
Anyway, we had a guest instructor, Mr. Darren D’selva, who came by and gave us an introduction to Thai and Fillipino styles last night. Very brutal, these arts ~ one of the signature moves was to keep the sword or knife in close contact with the enemy; once grappled, you can kiss the arm goodbye as the fighter will fillet the arm from wrist to shoulder…

Finally collected the new car over the weekend, and so we bid a fond farewell to an old friend. The furkids, on the other hand, didn’t seem too pleased to see the old car go….
