Since we’re both heading up to KL next weekend (myself for work, and wifey for shopping), we celebrated mum-in-law’s birthday a week early at Big Fish, over at East Coast.

A great eatery, it’s food style is very much like that of Fish & Co. but with it’s own distinct taste. It was packed when we went, so the table reservations in advance is a great idea.
Highly recommended!

Shopping!
We were out shopping earlier in the day, and came across a rather interesting boutique: Granny’s Day Out. Featuring real vintage clothes, assessories and bags brought in from Europe, America and Australia, it’s a quirky and unique store that has a very retro feel (right down to the 1970’s style Air-con controller on the wall!) making it an adventure just to browse through the selection. Featuring completely unique pieces, both second-hand and first-hand dead stocks, each piece is individually tagged by the owner Ms Loh Hsiao Ying with a short description on the price tag. In the end, bought 2 wrap-around skirts and a singlet for wifey.
