Ministry of Sound Entrance DJ's Console
We went out last night to the Ministry of Sound for a “look see”. And of course, the best way to do this is to go with Jamie ~ this girl knows all the right people, has all the connections and knows all the best places. Case in point: when we got to MoS, the queue stretched pretty much around the block. But with a few calls and a few friends we just slipped right in through the VIP entrance and into a reserved table… could feel the dagger stares in my back as we happily skipped in…

The loof
But before that, we dropped by another party at this Chillout joint called the “loof” (wher the letter “L” is an inverted “r”. Sounds like a poor Japanese or Chinese-accented attempt to pronounce “Roof”. But the place was a very nice open-air affair that had comfy loungers all round and a great city sky-line view, very down beat music that adjusted itself to the amount of people and noise there (great job, DJ!). Best of all, while looking for the joint’s web-page, I stumbled across Renton’s Bog. I think he’s the owner or manager of the place, and it chronicles the building of the place from day 1, with pictures and comments.

Thanks Renton! We love the place!
