Arrgh…!!!!

Stanley got attacked by a cat!!!! Stupid %$#@! cat! Now he’s pretty banged up (though he won the argument)… it happened overnight when this huge mother of a feline crept into my in-law’s gaden and decided to pick a fight >_<

It ain’t pretty… blood everywhere - Stan needed 3 stitches, the cat was so vicious! Ouch…

Wifey had to dispose of the loser - can you imagine? - and the carcass won’t fit into an ordinary NTUC shopping bag, she had to use a black trash bag…

It’s really painful to see him limping around. The vet says that one of the deeper wounds might impair his ability to run - we’ll have to wait and see when he fully heals.

But through it all, he’s still such a sweetheart. When he was at the vet, he hardly whined at all, and when mummy broke down and started sobbing in the waiting room, he was trying to calm her down, as if by saying “I’m fine, mummy. See, I can still move, so don’t cry.”

We have to bring him back again on monday for another check, hopefully the stitches can come off then….

Result:
All of us gotta try every damn thing until he’s happy… but sometimes, he changes his mind *AFTER* he decides, thus giving us extra work and heaps of fustration all round. Grrrrrrrrr

On other news, my In-Laws have been completely won over by the dogs. Wifey swears that they get treated better then she is. Case in point: She dropped the doggies off at in-laws yesterday morning, and there they were, gate open and waiting… and trying to open the door to let them out even before the car has stopped moving… ^^”

We just had a vacation to Austria, Germany and Czechoslovakia, touring Salzburg (that’s it in the background, btw), Munich, Dresden and Prague. I must say that it’s absolutely beautiful. Will post more… watch this space!
