Hmm… been engrossed with Hornblower. Don’t know why… occupational hazard perhaps? Never been too taken with serious fiction, let alone historical fiction - but I must say that the Hornblower series is an engrossing read! Done books 1-4… now if I can only find the remaining 7! Grrr… Borders just isn’t stocking them (perhaps someone else is buying the lot up?)
Mr Hornblower has been promoted up to Captain of his own ship (at book 4 anyways)! Can’t wait to read what happens next… tall ships, broadsides, boarding actions! Now that’s the naval life I can live, Wootz!
Think I’ll post some pix from work… the ship ones; don’t wanna get into trouble with ONI >_<
Well, it has been an eventful week. Rehersals, rehersals and more rehersals… my feet ache, I think I may have a blister, and my arm is in pain from holding the blasted heavy sword >_<
I’ll try to get some pictures up for a “preview” of how this year’s National Day Parade will look like.
In the mean time, I’ve actually joined the clubsnap forums… if nothing else to showcase my photography (underwater) skills :p
More to come me lovelies, more to come ^_^
